Cleaning:
Prepare the surface by sanding it thoroughly to remove any loose particles. Fill any holes with filler. Ensure the wood is dry and clean. Avoid using chemical cleaners; a soapy solution is sufficient.

Checking:
Check the conditions: will it stay dry today? Ensure the temperature is at least 15 degrees and not too humid. Consider the wind if painting outdoors. Store the wood stain between 5 and 30 degrees Celsius.

Painting:
Not sure about the colour or effect? Test a small area and wait for the result. Already decided? Get to work!
